City Witch
Overview
In this world, technology is magic. Everyone can learn to use magic like they can learn to code a software program.
After Harriet activates an ancient magical artefact she found, all statues in the city come to life. To return things to normal, she has to bring the artefact to the Museum of Modern Magic. Synopsis
As a researcher for magical artefacts, Harriet works on her greatest passion daily. To compensate for hours spent in her lab, she live-streams urban explorations of her city in her free time. When she finds a magic artefact during her stream and activates it, a magical explosion shoots across the city, bringing all statues to life.
Harriet wants to fix her mistake by taking the artefact to her lab in the Museum of Modern Magic. To get there, she and her familiar Salvius have to fight through hordes of statues who try to take the artefact for themselves. Nevertheless, she keeps streaming and gains more and more viewers, who support her via donations.
The closer Harriet and Salvius get to the museum, the more her new audience puzzles together that Harriet caused the explosion. She has to own up to her mistake and be accountable so her audience and Salvius help her fix the situation.
